Norfolk Walking Festival

Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November
This October sees the first Norfolk Walking Festival, along the north east Norfolk coast.

The festival will celebrate  the opening of Norfolk’s first stretch of England Coast Path, running between Weybourne and Sea Palling.

There will be walks specifically for families to enjoy during half term or at the weekends and longer walks will also be on offer for those looking to really stretch their legs. Also themed guided walks.

20 October 2015 9. A Walk from Sheringham An 11 mile walk from Sheringham along cliff top paths to Sheringham Park and the visitor centre.

21 October 2015 11. Eccles Juxta-Mare: A Lost Village Discovered A 3 mile beach and country lane walk from Sea Palling, visiting the buried bits of Eccles Medieval Village.

24 October 2015 21. Roman Camp Circular A varied 8.5 mile circular walk along the coastal path from Cromer to Sheringham.

25 October 2015 22. A Walk into History – Cromer to Erpingham A 9.2 mile walk designed to have something for everyone – young or old.

26 October 2015 27. Walk, Talk, Create A magical 1-2 mile walk, exploring the natural world on the newly opened stretch of Norfolk Coast Path.
