East Ruston Old Vicarage
The Old Vicarage is a remarkable garden designed by it’s owners Alan Gray & Grayham Robeson. The vicarage was bought in 1973 with no garden at all, now it has been transformed into many individual gardens including exotic, mediterranean, vegetable, sunken garden, woodland gardens, borders and wild flower areas.
It is located on the Norfolk coast but is sheltered from the winds by dense hedges and planting, enabling unusual and tender plants to grow.
A lovely afernoon was spent strolling round the grounds with the family, finishing the afternoon with tea and cakes at the cafe.
