The second cottage of the joined pair at Wickmere is every bit as welcoming and homely as its partner. Suitable for couples or small families it faces open, well maintained separate gardens, including a large sweep of lush green lawn with pleasant views of meadow land beyond.
Kitchen diner
This hall entrance cottage features a cosy, Edwardian style kitchen/diner complete with exposed beams and a traditional pammented style tiled floor. The attractive fully-fitted wood kitchen boasts all the modern conveniences including oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & automatic washer/dryer.
Whether you’re rustling up a spot of breakfast, catching a quick lunchtime snack or cooking some good old fashioned fayre you’ll feel right at home.
Living room
The cottage’s inviting living room is tastefully decorated in a comfortable rural manner – again boasting old exposed timber beams, an inglenook fireplace and wood burner redolent with happy memories of relaxed, cosy evenings.
Polished wood flooring, warm rugs and comfy furnishings add to the restful air – a perfect place to relax and unwind by watching the television, enjoying a DVD or simply reading a good book!
Bedrooms
Upstairs the master bedroom features a touch of elegance in the shape of a wonderful king-size half-tester bed, complemented by smart additional furnishings and a real sense of old-world charm. Just the kind of place it’s a delight to wake up in on the first day of a memorable holiday! The second bedroom is furnished in a turn-of-the-century style with comfy twin beds and matching pine furniture.

Leading off from the upstairs hall there is an attractive good family sized bathroom featuring a wood-panelled shower/bath combination, WC and wash basin.
