This bank holiday weekend, the Poppyline steam railway will be having a special guest arrive for all the family to enjoy. The locomotive is a replica built in 2006 and is on loan from the Beamish Museum. The original locomotive still survives and can be found in the science museum.

Peregrine falcons have successfully fledged chicks in Norwich Cathedrals 250ft spire since 2012. The first egg of 2015 has just been laid, so hopefully they will hatch towards the end of April. The Hawk and Owl Trust have a webcam and observation point set up until the end of June.
In partnership with Norwich Astronomical Society, Fairhaven gardens will be hosting an astronomy evening on the 13th February at 7pm. Feel free to take your own telescopes. Refreshments will be available.
Annual firework display in Cromer, with Titanium Fireworks, a very popular event and truly unique way to start the New year. The Cromer fireworks display starts at 5pm Please note that the town does get very busy for this event, so it is advisable to arrive early.
