Archivist Lucy Purvis has unearthed some fascinating stories of people who have lived and worked at Holkham over the years.  You can follow the trail around the exhibition to learn more
about the characters.  Spot the many books  hidden around the exhibition.
Crafts relating to all things literary! Make your own bookworm bookmark, design your autobiography book cover and add your own line to our ‘never-ending story’
Holkham Tales Trail,  pick up a trail from the reception to visit four landmarks, learn the story about each and collect a stamp.
Burn off some steam in our woodland play area.
Enjoy an amble around Holkham Lake and learn something new on your way.

All aboard the Teddy Bear Express this February Half-Term
KIDS GO FREE this half-term week!
Children can also take part in a themed activity for their journey.
 and Teddy Bear Lunch Boxes will be available to purchase from the Whilstlestop Café
Children travel FREE when accompanied by a full fare-paying adult. Max 2 children (0-15 years) per adult.

Cordon Rouge

Enjoy a family fun pirate themed river trip aboard the Cordon Rouge this February half term.
Pirates have commandeered the Cordon Rouge and have been seen flying the Jolly Roger on the Norfolk Broads. Rumour has it they’re seeking lost treasure on the Broads and they’re
looking for crew to help them find it. So, what are ye waiting for, will ye take ye share of the booty or will ye be forced to walk the plank.
Featuring pirate themed decoration, children’s activity packs, fancy dress and commentary from our Pirate ship Captain “Flint”.
Trips last for 1.5 hours running twice daily on weekdays during February half term.
Don’t forget to dress up as a Pirate too!
