Blakeney National Nature Reserve

Blakeney National Nature Reserve, National Trust.

The shingle spit of Blakeney gives protection for Blakeney Harbour and the surrounding saltmarshes.  The saltmarshes provide a perfect habitat for residential and migratory birds.  At Blakeney point you can see the common and grey seals, a boat trip from Morston or Blakeney is the best way to experience these inquisitive animals.  The reserve is a must when visiting north Norfolk, enjoy uninterrupted views of Norfolk’s coast line, see the wildlife  and have a relaxing day out.
