April  2011 was one off the warmest and dryest for many  years. On the 29th this year, these pictures of Cromer pier  were taken as gale force winds were battering the coast.  What a difference to the  29th last year when Prince William and Kate Middleton were  married. April 2012 April 2011

This bank holiday weekend, the Poppyline steam railway will be having a special guest arrive for all the family to enjoy. The locomotive is a replica  built in 2006 and is on loan from the Beamish Museum. The original locomotive still survives and  can be found in the science museum.
