Rock pooling at West Runton

West Runton has a lovely sandy beach as well as an area of rocks and pebbles. This creates an ideal enviroment for children hunting for sea urchins, crabs, fossils and other sea creatures.  This is one of the few beaches on the north Norfolk coast where you can take the children rock pooling.

West Runton can put its name to the discovery of the remains of a woolly mammoth in 1990.
